• Nina Aube – A Keepsake Ornament artist whose love for miniatures and design began in childhood. She joined Hallmark in 1981 and became part of the Keepsake Ornaments team in 1994, earning the title of “queen of cute.” Her ornaments, often inspired by animals and fashion, continue to bring warmth and joy to families even after her retirement.

• Ken Crow – A master artist at Hallmark who began his career on August 21, 1979, and joined the Keepsake Ornaments team in 1983. Known for his innovative animated and musical ornaments, such as Santa’s Magic Train and Christmas Carousel, he brought joy to collectors for 40 years before retiring in August 2019. His legacy of creativity and excellence continues to inspire.

• Anita Marra Rogers – Originally a painter, Anita’s talent for sculpting was discovered unexpectedly, leading her to join Hallmark’s Keepsake Studio in 1985. She has since created hundreds of whimsical and beloved ornaments, including pieces from the Puppy Love series and Scooby-Doo collections. Her work continues to capture cherished memories and holiday magic.

The Cactus Country Collectors Club proudly supports three incredible local charities, and all money raised from our raffle ticket sales will go directly to these organizations:

🐾 Sun City 4 PAWS Rescue – Providing shelter, medical care, and adoption services for cats in need, ensuring they find loving forever homes.

📦 Packages From Home – Supporting deployed military personnel, veterans, and military K9s by providing essential care packages filled with hygiene products, snacks, and comfort items.

💖 Grateful Hearts of Glendale – Assisting local families facing hardship by offering food, clothing, and support services to help them get back on their feet.

Cactus Country Collectors Club

The Cactus Country Collectors’ Club was founded around 1984-1985 by Jeanne and June Tribbensee at Jeanne’s Hallmark in Glendale, Arizona. As a collector and secondary seller, Jeanne provided a space for members to gather. When she retired in the early 1990s, the club moved to LuAnn’s Hallmark at Christown Mall, where it grew significantly, hosted secondary market shows, and introduced its first club pin in 1992-1993. Over the years, the club relocated multiple times as sponsors changed, including stops at Sheri’s Hallmark in Happy Valley and Stacy’s Hallmark in Arrowhead Crossing, where meetings continued until the store closed in 2019.

In 2020, the club found a new home at Karen’s Hallmark in Surprise. However, the pandemic led to virtual meetings starting in March 2022. Throughout its history, the club has maintained traditions such as monthly meetings, annual Christmas parties, and artist signings, including a notable event with Nello Williams and Orville Wilson in 2012. As in-person gatherings became challenging, the club adapted by holding meetings at restaurants and members’ homes.

Beyond collecting, the Cactus Country Collectors’ Club is dedicated to giving back to the community. The club actively raises money for three local charities: Sun City 4 PAWS Rescue, which provides shelter and care for cats in need; Packages From Home, which supports deployed military personnel, veterans, and military K9's with essential items; and Grateful Hearts of Glendale, an organization that assists local families facing hardship. With over 30 years of history, the club continues to thrive, driven by its passionate members and commitment to both collecting and community service.
